KCL was incorporated on the 14th of June 2018 under the laws of Republic of Mauritius. The registered address of the KCL is Suite 601,6th Floor, Hennessy Tower, Port-Louis.
The company offers consulting services for foreign investors and also resident investors hoping to invest in Mauritius and globally. It assists in incubation of regular fintech businesses and in the application for sandbox licenses. It also helps in GDPR and general compliance.
Our services
❖ Independent AML/CFT Audit
Regulation 22(1) (d) of the FIAML Regulations 2018 requires that financial
institutions shall have in place an audit function to review and verify compliance
with and effectiveness of the measures taken in accordance with the FIAMLA
and FIAML Regulations 2018. The audit function shall also help ascertain
whether the established policies, procedures, systems and controls are adapted
with the money laundering and terrorism financing risks identified.
The scope of the audit KCL proposes to carry out will inter alia to test the
AML/CFT policies, procedures and controls the Company has established, and its
adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
KCL will also, at the end of the Independent AML/CFT Audit exercise, submit a
report to the Company highlighting amongst others its compliance-related
achievements as well as the salient weaknesses identified and underscoring
remedial actions required to address issues raised together with best industry
practice proposals, wherever applicable.
❖ Update of Compliance Manual
KCL shall assist in the updating of the Compliance Manual of an entity. We shall
take into consideration the rating of the Audit Report of your entity and other
aspects of the law.
❖ MLRO and Deputy MLRO services
KCL also provide MLRO and Deputy MLRO services. Our team shall see
whether the internal procedures are in compliance with FIAMLA and FIAML
Regulations. 2018.
❖ Apostille of Documents
KCL assist clients in the process of apostille of documents. We shall make the
application on behalf of the client with the relevant authorities.
